Eclectic or Difficult to Define Happiness Ideas

This page is for those happiness ideas which offer a blend of many distinct approaches (the eclectic approach) or which don't easily fall into other categories.

For example, Gretchen Rubin wrote The Happiness Project - in which she recounts what she learned as she first read about and then tried out various ideas from as far back as ancient philosophy and as recent as modern scientific views on happiness.  Also, in a very short book (The 18 Rules of Happiness) Karl Moore combines various ideas for happiness into a series of simple 'rules' to help make yourself happier.  An excellent all around approach to life and happiness can be found in the the book:  The Art of Non-Conformity by Chris Guillebeau
